# Vulnerability Reporting

Documentation gap: this behaviour could not be verified from the current source.

No source-backed vulnerability reporting policy was found in this pass. Maintainers should add a `SECURITY.md` file or equivalent policy and link it here.

## What A Maintainer Should Add

A complete policy should state:

* where to report vulnerabilities;
* whether private disclosure is supported;
* expected response times;
* supported versions;
* what information reporters should include;
* whether public issues should be avoided for sensitive reports;
* how fixes and advisories are published.

## Do Not Include Secrets In Reports

When reporting a security issue, do not include:

* API keys;
* passwords;
* bearer tokens;
* refresh tokens;
* OIDC client secrets;
* private keys;
* production database files.

Redact logs before sharing them.

## Temporary Reporting Guidance

Until a formal policy exists, report only non-sensitive details in public channels and ask the maintainer for a private disclosure route before sending exploit details or secrets.
